Creative Workshops

Gentle, art-based sessions for healing, integration, and reconnection.

Creative Workshops With Jo

My workshops are guided, process-based art experiences that invites people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore what’s present through creative expression.

These sessions can stand alone or be woven into a larger retreat or healing experience. I often collaborate with therapists, coaches, and wellness practitioners, but I also regularly lead workshops as the primary facilitator.

The emphasis is on the process, not the product. We use art as a tool for presence, play, and personal transformation.

The Workshop Experience

Rooted in creative exploration and personal wellness, these workshops are designed to meet your group where they are. Each session responds to the energy and needs of the participants, using simple materials and a gently guided structure to invite presence, expression, and connection.

Workshops may include:

  • Breathwork or grounding practices to support nervous system regulation

  • Meditative art-making techniques to quiet the mind and center the body

  • Supportive guidance in intuitive, process-based making

  • Playful group activities that spark curiosity and connection

  • Opportunities for reflection, journaling, or group dialogue

Sessions range from peaceful and contemplative to expressive and lively, often flowing between both. Participants are encouraged to listen inward, explore freely, and reconnect with their natural creative instincts, without pressure or judgment.

These sessions also offer tools and inspiration for developing a sustainable creative practice, nurturing a deeper sense of presence and self-trust beyond the retreat.

Art as a Path to Healing

Creative expression opens pathways that language can’t always reach. Through intuitive art-making, participants often access emotion, insight, clarity, and calm.

These workshops support:

  • Nervous system restoration

  • Reconnection with creativity and identity

  • Inner child and inner critic work

  • Trauma-informed and somatic practices

  • Grief and life transitions

The process invites a return to Self, with more spaciousness, presence, and compassion.
